Privacy policy
This site is operated by TrazTech Inc. of Toronto, Ontario. This policy explains what we collect and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who we are
GetAudited is operated by TrazTech Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario with its office at 145 1/2 Church Street, Unit 5 Office 876, Toronto, Ontario, M5B 1Y4. TrazTech is the organization accountable for the personal information described here. Questions and requests go to [email protected].
What we collect

Who we share it with, and this is the important part
If you submit a quote request, we share the information in that request with security and compliance firms in our directory whose services match what you asked for. That is the purpose of the form and it is how this site is funded. Shared information includes your name, work email, company name, company size, the framework you need, your timeline, and any notes you wrote.
Two consequences worth being explicit about.
- More than one firm may receive your request, and any of them may contact you. We ask firms to be reasonable about this. We cannot control how they behave once they have your details, and you deal with them directly from that point.
- TrazTech Inc., which operates this site, is itself a security and compliance practice and may respond to your request as one of those firms. That is a conflict of interest and you should know about it when reading anything on this site that recommends a course of action.
If you would rather not have your information shared, do not use the quote form. Email us instead and say so, and we will treat the exchange as a direct enquiry.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not share newsletter subscriptions or calculator inputs with directory firms.
Service providers
We use service providers to run the site and send email, including hosting, email delivery and payment processing. They handle personal information only to provide those services to us, under contract. Some of them operate outside Canada, which means information may be stored or processed in another country and may be accessible to that country's courts and authorities. Accountability for the information stays with TrazTech Inc.
Tracking
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking cookies. We do not know who you are unless you tell us. Server logs record requests as described above and are not connected to any profile.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and the delivery records attached to them are kept for two years from submission, so we can answer questions about what happened to a request. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, and the consent record is kept for three years after that, which is what Canadian anti-spam law expects. Server logs are kept for ninety days.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge.
Deletion has one limit. Where we have already shared a quote request with a firm, we can delete our copy but we cannot delete theirs. We will tell you which firms received it so you can contact them directly.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any edition, or by replying to it. That takes effect immediately.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, tell us first at [email protected]. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to your provincial privacy commissioner in Quebec, British Columbia or Alberta.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will change this page and update the date at the top. Material changes to the sharing described above will be notified to anyone on the newsletter list before they take effect.
